Not quite transfer related, but will be like a new signing when he's fully fit -

I think we can officially declare Hamilton the new Feeds Utd at this point.

Just like we got it wrong in signing Ben Godfrey, He will never make the first team, and that Maddison, what a waste of money. FFS, have any of you ever seen the lad perform? Of course not. Any stick to be a keyboard warrior. I sometimes think that this site is trying to turn Pink.. Replying to FML.

You've got a good point GE but, we are very well endowed with goalkeepers so do we need yet another even though he might be the next Gordon Banks. We have McGovern, Ruddy, Jones and Rudd as seniors and Killip and Matthews in the young and pending file.

I'm sure McCracken could be a major talent in the future - not disputing that, but we have pressing priorities elsewhere that don't seem (on the face of it) to be making as much progress as we would all like.

And now for something completely different..............................Rhodes was an unused sub on Middlesborough bench last night when they lost to Fulham in EFL Cup.
Other than Oliveria, rumoured to be in talks at Carrow Road, its all quiet on the eastern front. After all the excitement are we going to be left with CJ, Lafferty, Oliveria and Morris as strikers? Any talk of bringing in more than one striker seems a distant memory. Six days to go and counting.............................................

For the 3rd or 4th window in a row he have needed a striker (or 2) and a CB. This window we have signed neither and signed 3 goalkeepers when we had 2 who would have covered fine in this league. That was my point. Not a judgement on the lad. I think that's pretty obvious.

Exactly. Just takes a bit of common sense sometimes.

It doesn't matter. We have signed 3 goalkeepers!

So that should be enough!

Apparently.

We have hired an elite team of barrel buying negotiators and they are drawing up a shortlist of 500 potential targets.
I heard they are drawing up a shortlist of 500 potential targets of Barrel shortlist making staff members. Once they are identified and signed, then they will start working on the 500 Barrel shortlist.

Just a general reply to the previous posts.
At least we all seem to be agreed that we have for several transfer windows been in desperate need of 1 or preferably 2 strikers and a CB, so what the heck are our scouts doing in identifying potential targets - on the face of it, NOTHING!!!!
I really can't believe that there are now just over 150 hours of the window left and all we get from the EDP, twitter etc are rumours. Can somebody please tell Jez and co that we must spend some serious wedge to get the calibre of players that we need to push for promotion.

Edit - I can see us ending up with an aging striker who's deemed surplus in a PL squad.
