Oooh, forgot that one. I sit almost behind where Rickie took it from and I remember saying to people around me... "Don't shoot from their Rickie, get in the box to get on the end of a .....GOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAALLLLLLLLL." I got some stick for that!

Arguably my favourite. I finished watching the 117 goals and 10 of them were free kicks. He scored a few in the Prem in quick succession. I guess my memory is just not that good, I need to have a Guinness or two less before heading to the games so I can try and remember better ....

Yeah, there's a different registration for qualifiers & group games. So he would 100% be able to play for us in the Europa, not that I think we'll sign him

I think the problem is we can't get him at that price.
I do not think we were just trying to jerk Steaua București around. I feel the rumored interest was probably legit. We wanted him and if he were going in the fee range we were rumored to be offering, I think the club could afford to take both him and Boufal and would do so.
But since Becali is crazy, I think he likely drives up the price to where it's no longer worth the money when Boufal has already at least partially addressed the need.
If it's 10m as has been quoted, that (in my limited opinion) is cheap. If he pushed that up to 15? Well I think that's a pretty good deal in today's market too.
I agree. I don't think we should just stop looking to acquire another attacker. And I don't think the fee mentioned by LeTissier's Laces is unreasonable.
I just think that between Becali's unstable mental state and the fact that there are always other options out there, I would not be surprised or disappointed if we gave up and went in another direction. It's quite possible Becali is asking for 55m. Or .5m and unicorn.
Unless we get both players AND a pacey CB, I will be beoynd certain that the Board lacks ambition.
