- Hull City are in the chase to sign Paris Saint-Germain and Italy goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu, according to reports from France.
The 30-year-old Italian has slipped down the rankings at PSG, appearing just three times for the clublast season. However, he did make an appearance for Italy during Euro 2016 against the Republic of Ireland when Gianluigi Buffon suffered a fever.
Reports in France said City and Everton are now looking to sign the keeper on a loan, saying they face competition from Everton.
It is thought Everton would sign him as a second keeper to new signing Maarten Stekelenburg but at Hull City he would be a new Number 1 with Eldin Jakupovic dropping to the bench in the absence of the injured Allan McGregor.
A report in French daily Le Parisien says PSG would continue to pay part of Sirigu's salary, making City's approach viable.

Isnt goalkeeper literally the only position where we don't need to strengthen?
