It was 4 years ago when he was a stupid and insensitive young man. In hindsight he must regret those tweets and as he older maybe he is wiser and his attitudes have changed as a result. Move on!!

I agree to an extent, but by the same token would you say the same thing had it been say Vardy (for example) making racist tweets while at Fleetwood?

[HASHTAG]#burn[/HASHTAG] & [HASHTAG]#die[/HASHTAG] is pretty damning too.

We need next Saturday to come round really fast! Sunderland are in the midst of a mini meltdown at the moment. Already missing a few players for tomorrows derby game, now the want-away Kone has ruled himself out with a back injury. They will be signing players before the window shuts, they seriously have to, but hopefully it all comes down to last day deals!

Wanyama has been at the cardio. He has lost a hell of a lot of his muscle.

What a disgusting run of comments from a foul human being. Yet a top football clubs has him on their books paying him tens of thousands of pounds. I would rarely say this but I hope his career is short and ends painfully. Have to rely on the universe to dole out justice, society wont.

Yeah, no, you are kidding right? He wasnt 7 when he made those comments it was 4 years ago. Nobody changes in 4 years, they get promoted and they find themselves with everything to lose and they start freaking out because suddenly people care that they're a homophobic scumbag filled with hate who publicly expressed it time and time again. There's a lot to see here and its as ugly as it gets, if he played for Saints I'd want him gone.

We have politicians making equally insensitive remarks. Unless the politician is high profile, the public soon lose interest in the utterances. And people do change in 4 years. Through reading, experiences, meeting a range of people and travel, people do change. I certainly have.

The only reason he's claiming change is that he got dragged into the light and its ****ing hurting him. He didn't even delete those tweets for 4 years and he hasnt done jack **** about making up for it for 4 years. Where's the actual evidence that he's changed other than he's now having to answer for it? It'll take a lot more than an apology to make those evil remarks go away.

Sure, but going by a lot of what I hear, it's like people believe we've not reinvested a penny and Kat's sitting there on a nest egg.

At current, she is sitting on quite a nest egg; stand pat and she could both pay down most of the money owed to herself and reap the benefit of an asset that has seen its value increase 4-5 times since she took over control. In all likelihood, at least some of that money will be reinvested. But the fact that we're 10 days from the end of the window without any concrete indication that the money is earmarked for the team renders it a pretty valid line of argument, really.

I don't normally comment on here, but I find it strange that we don't seem to have done more. Still 10 days to go.posted on wrong thread!
