He spends what it takes to have quality where he needs it. If that's £3m, he'll spend it; if it's £35m, he'll spend it.
Must be pretty frustrating for Arsenal fans though that they still haven't bought the striker they've needed for around 3 years though. Also think the employee comment is a bit stupid, it's not like other clubs don't have employees and they're not exactly paupers.
On another note I see Gray has issued an apology. Yep sure that will make it go away Interested to see how Burnley handle this...
Yeah, they had £159m cash on hand as of November 2015, heh, and it was expected to be above £200m when this season began. Yet they've spent on other positions in recent years, often big fees. The choice not to buy a striker doesn't appear to be a financial thing, best I can tell, it's a Wenger thing.
On this as well some may know more than me but is there anything the FA can do about this as they were sent in 2012?
Unfortunately, in our position it's not really something to shout about though, given the players we've lost in that time. Christ, if we hadn't been spending money we could be Aston Villa pretty soon (or already).
Sure, but going by a lot of what I hear, it's like people believe we've not reinvested a penny and Kat's sitting there on a nest egg.
It was 4 years ago when he was a stupid and insensitive young man. In hindsight he must regret those tweets and as he older maybe he is wiser and his attitudes have changed as a result. Move on!!
