Almost certainly- he will bemoan the fact that Stoke usually get penalised but it was a penalty. I've never heard Hughes say any penalty given against him was correct.

Mike Dean continues to be the referee in the PL who gives penalties for shirt pulls. Hopefully this season more follow his lead.

It's great that he's penalised Shawcross, but when he does it against Utd or Liverpool or any of the other top sides will be the day he gets my respect. It's easy to do it to Stoke.

Smalling will be sent off every game.

That may well be the case. But I don't see other referees pulling Shawcross up for it. I don't care who it is that Dean is giving penalties against, he still gets my immense respect for being the one referee who is open to giving them.
