This seems to be popular on here at the moment, when we have very little (if any) idea about what's going on 'behind the scenes' :emoticon-0108-speec

I can understand that there are concerns about Kaboul, Kone and M'Vila, and the abilities of new signings Paddy McNair, Donald Love and Papy OnionBhaji, 'cos I've got some, too, but 'we' seem to be taking delight in criticising our club when we simply don't understand the circumstances or logic of what's going on . . . . 'we' seem to be assuming that there is none and that the hierarchy are deliberately 'running the club down' :emoticon-0112-wonde

That's what is being portrayed, and it provides fans of other clubs good reasons to be laughing at our 'in-fighting' :emoticon-0101-sadsm

I know that my opinion is worthless to some on here, and I might, therefore, be speaking 'out of turn' but I just felt that it was time to say something, because the negativity is spreading rapidly, which will not do us any favours on sunday (and beyond) :emoticon-0101-sadsm

I firmly believe that there is a plan in place, and S.A.F.C. are doing all that they can to strengthen the squad appropriately to make us stronger overall, and they have got my total support, regardless of the lack of knowledge regarding said plan :emoticon-0100-smile

p.s. I don't mean to 'pick on' any individuals . . . . I don't have the right to do so, but collectively 'we' seem to be panicking without knowing the facts <hug>

I think I've whinged on here more in these last weeks than in the rest of my time on this forum combined, I don't know if I'm a bit stressed in general but I feel like Sunderland are driving me mad at the moment. The wait for good news is killing me and in the meantime we're getting bad news if anything.

You're right that it won't do any good on match day if there's a negative buzz around the place. I can't say I share your optimism, based on experience, but all it would take is a couple of good signings and we're all back on track. Whether we get them is another thing.

My feelings exactly - it just seems like bad news piled on top of bad news
 
One thing we all have in common Gordon is that we want our club to do well.

You can't blame us when all we seem to hear lately is what most would regard as bad news, or no news when it's about M'Vila.

I hope you're right and our club comes out of this transfer window better than it went in, it just seems that we are going backwards at the moment.
Time will tell.
Who knows, maybe in the next few weeks we might sign some genuine first team players.

It certainly does, unfortunately, but maybe that's where my optimism (or positivity) comes in . . . . I don't just hope 'cos I expect us to be better off when the window closes :emoticon-0100-smile

One real positive is that Moyes is renowned for taking a club with almost no budget and building a winning team out of them.

We could realistically be the next Everton.

I don`t think it`s the case that safc bashing is habitual. The club, Sam and the players got plenty of praise last season when it was earned.

Seems like whenever there are signs of improvement it turns to ****e again.

Another struggle this year, we may well survive but that's all we'll ever do. As for a "plan" what sort of adequate plan can we expect to be implemented in the time remaining? Moyes and Bain have had the best part of a month now and we've gone backwards. So at that rate of progression I'd expect we'll sell Pickford to Man Utd for a bag of quavers because he wants to be closer to his Nana who lives in Wigan and allow Defoe to join Leicester as he has a life long affinity with walkers crisps. While that's going on we'll pay 17.5m to loan Jordan Rhodes until November
