Moyes only came cos he was told / promised certain things. I can't see Short letting him down. It was Moyes that Kaboul went to talk to 1st. Moyes had no problem telling Kone to sit down and shut up, so if he was willing to let Kaboul go there must be a reason. I won't judge until the window closes.
Probably still in a higher league than us. I've been amazed at the way this window has gone so far for SAFC but mostly the utter lack of urgency Moyes seemed to have a few weeks ago when talking about maybe signing M'Villa. On the plus side Newcastle consistently made our team and squad worse for a few seasons and stayed in the Premiership, it was only the year we finally decided to spend that we went down - football doesn't make sense, stop worrying, keep expectations low and when you finish 17th again then question what the point is. ps. We aren't coming back up and without our 6 points to rely on...
Aye I understand it, its disappointing the way things are going so far. hard to keep calm about something we all care about (the club) when there has been as many (maybe more) set backs as steps forward. I remain hopeful though, as I cant see Moyes joining us if he didnt expect money to be spent.
