No but we have a wonderful central defender by the name of Federico who will be available at the end of the season. Book now for special early bird rates!
Probably doesn't belong here but The Irish Times are reporting ex Villa striker Dalien Atkinson was killed overnight by a police Taser at a domestic disturbance .
Costa back to dodging reds. West Ham were **** but they have a right to feel aggrieved that Costa was on the pitch to score the winner. Oh and for yesterday. Arsenal
How bad does Costa have to be to get sent off? It would be funny if it wasn't actually very important.
This exactly, West Ham offered nothing all game apart from scoring the goal, As for the chavs..Its as easy keeping Hazard and Costa quiet and they're ****e.
Yesterdays game highlights one of the reasons I am really going off football. Barely paid any attention to the opening fixtures in the Prem (though did watch Brighton dismantle Forest) for the first time in ages. The standard of referring is abysmal and players like Costa take advantage and revel in their ability to cheat. It's back to the dark days of Reevies 70's Leeds team. Win by kicking and cheating the opposition out of the match. That isn't sport. It's a playground free for all.
I hope teams take note to park the bus if they're drawing with Chelsea with two or three minutes to go.
One day I'll read a match report that doesn't say that Costa could easily have been/should have been sent off. It reminds me of when Suarez played over here, as it's acknowledged that he's a dirty ****bag, but nothing seems to happen.
There's an easy remedy for that: loan him to Sunderland for the season and see the suspensions rack up. Of course, not one pundit will consider that the shirt he's wearing - or to be more specific, the shirt he isn't wearing - is the real determining factor for this.
Apparently Conte went full Wenger yesterday when asked about the Costa foul on the GK. <I did not see it>
are you chaps confident of a result in your next game following the draw on the weekend? And whats with Dele changing his name to dele?
He was put into foster care when he was 13, as his dad did a runner when he was barely born and his mum was an alcoholic. I think that he feels that the couple that fostered him are his real parents, so he doesn't feel any attachment to the Alli name. He calls them his adoptive parents, even though he wasn't formally adopted.
I think so. We decided to turn up about 55 minutes into the Everton game - an event non-coincidentally linked to Janssen coming on. From that point on, only one team looked likely to win it and it wasn't the home side. Palace meanwhile have been ****e for half a year now and just sold their most dangerous player so I really do fancy us for a comfortable win. ...which now of course means we'll lose 3-0 courtesy of a Townsend hat trick
You can't find fault with the PL powers for being extremely lenient to the PL's instigator in chief, and extremely harsh to anyone who appears to have mistreated him. It certainly seems like a good idea, and an excellent way of promoting good sportsmanship.
Sorry but excuse an old(ish) man but watching Man city v Steau and the diving rolling over dying swan acting stinks Must be some manner in whichh growing balls can be made fashionable in football
