Zappacosta is a really tidy little player, started as a midfielder so lovely on the ball. Was really good for Atalanta when I seen him would be keen on this.
With Bridcutt out, hopefully tonight, that's only Gomez and Mavrias to shift from the old ****guard. Fingers crossed their wages make way for far better players coming in.

Sunderland & Watford close to Younes Kaboul deal Watford are closing in on a deal to sign French defender Younes Kaboul from Sunderland, according to today’s L’Équipe. The 30 year old has been in contract discussions for just under a week with the London side and could be set to sign a three year deal with the Hornets should fee negotiations between the two Premier League clubs be completed today. Bullshit
I know the echo have picked up on it now.. Watford have been linked with a surprise move for Sunderland defender Younes Kaboul. The 30-year-old, who has become a key figure in the Sunderland defence, joined the club from Tottenham Hotspur last summer for a fee of £3million. But Premier League rivals Watford are reported to be weighing up a move for the Frenchman, with French newspaper L’Équipe claiming the Hornets are keen to sign Kaboul on a three-year deal. Kaboul has struck up a strong central defensive partnership with Lamine Kone - who is wanted by Everton - since the Ivory Coast international arrived at the Stadium of Light in January. Their form was a key reason behind the club's survival last season, with both starting against Manchester City on the opening day of the Premier League season. Moyes was asked about Kone's future at the weekend and he stressed he was keen to keep those players who make a big contribution to the team. Moyes said: "The big thing is, we are short of players, whether it be centre-halves or midfield players or full-backs, we are short. I won’t be letting anybody go who I think can contribute to the team. "Kone is a big contribution to the team. "If I think I can do things in other ways, I will think about it, but, at the moment, the market has made it really difficult to do that."
I read it but I don't believe it. If DM is determined to hold on to Kone, why would he sell his equally good centre half partner Kaboul? It just doesn't make sense to me.
I think evetyone deserves to see this story mate. In a new thread. You do the honours. Then sit back and watch the ructions.
How can he be under contract negotiations with another club, when he is our player? I just wouldn't happen.
I dont know what the hell is happening here, but if the club are willing to sell one of our better players, purely because we make a big profit on what it cost us to fetch him in, then how the fcuk are fans to believe that we will be anything more than a yo yo club with no fcuking ambition. As a fan of over 60yrs even i can not remember the club being so badly run. If this sort of mentality continues i may be one of those that walk away. I for one cant wait till the window is closed and we see if the promise made to Kone is kept or otherwise. I dont know why that sort of promise was made in the first place, if he doesnt want to play for us, bollocks look for someone else. As has been mentioned on other posts the Bosman ruling has given players the upper hand and they are milking it big style.
#732 Me and Nads were on about it last week. Had nothing but an obscure link on it. Surprised it's taken so long for the mainstream press to cotton on. The Media are slacking when I'm kicking their arse by 5 days
