According to the Italian website specialising in transfer news, the Premier League outfit made a proposal worth in the region of £8.6m. Zappacosta could have problems fitting into new Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic’s system. He was a big investment for Torino, arriving from Atalanta last summer for €4.3m. Just turned 24, Zappacosta was a regular for the Italy Under-21 side and has broken into the senior squad.
I believe this guy is very highly rated, is a great age and most importantly has a great name. I'm sold.
Tottenham right back DeAndre Yedlin is wanted by Derby County and Hull City. The USA international was on loan at Sunderland last season and Tottenham would be open to selling the 23-year-old. Derby and Hull have both made offers in the region of £3.5million and Yedlin is keen to move on and kickstart his career.
Levy has always been happy to stifle development in younguns just so long as he gets his inflated fee.
Isn't American football coming to White Hart Lane? I think Spurs have aspirations of becoming "America's Team." That's not the way to go about it.
And here's me thinking he had changed his spots. At that price no thank you Mr Levy. But thanks for Younis.
Who would you like to see at right full back, Zappacosta, Arbeloa or DeYedlin? Looks like it will be one of them with Arbeloa on a free. He is 33 but still good
