And it's hardly the way I'd poison a single person...surely you'd use a chemical rather than a virus or bacteria. Not that I've thought about it:bandit:
 
To show once again that age does not equal wisdom I have bought another motorcycle supposedly so the Guzzi doesn't get wet and dirty in the winter.

It's a 'homemade' thing with a Jawa 350 frame, Honda 250 wheels and a Rotax 350 engine. Complete with dulux emulsion paintwork it's almost impossible to start once the engine's warm, sounds like a food mixer with ball bearings in it and indicates 40mph regardless of what speed you're actually doing.

I've not had so much fun on a bike for bloody years :emoticon-0100-smile

Sad to read that one of the top men in my game, David Enthoven, has passed away. I didn't know him well, but he was always incredibly generous with his time and advice when I started out on this course - a trait that's really very rare amongst fellow managers! Top man, RIP.

Taking of long-lived species, there is a tree in Mauritius that has had no new saplings grow since the 16th century. A botanist noticed that all examples of this tree were at least 300 years old. Turned out the seeds had to pass through a dodo's stomach to sprout. Luckily it has now been discovered that the domestic turkey will do as well, so the dodo tree has been saved.

Try going for walks, you might find it more beneficial and easier to fit in.
I was going to the gym last year, but it didn't fit my schedule, so I changed to walking. It helps that I live near the common, so have a nice area to walk around.
Since February, up until a week ago, I have lost 10k, just by walking up to 5 miles, (depends on available time and weather) at just under 4mph. I have been doing this 3 or 4 times a week, but have also adapted my diet, slightly.

I'm joining one next week Tom so I expect I'll be feeling the pain too. It's going to be part fitness, part physio so I wanted to have some sort of structure as I'm not disciplined enough just to use the rowing machine and bike at home - I gave up smoking in May so I can afford to pay the gym fees (at least I will be able to when I get a job as my last contract finished in July and I haven't got another one lined up yet)
 
Kids away! I'm off next week. It's Friday afternoon. The sun is out. Wife and I are having a beer in the garden watching the olympics!! The season starts tomorrow.Love life!!
