Nick Barmby was replaced by Steve Bruce who had no problem ripping up the wage structure and spending their cash.

They didn't trust Barmby to buy anyone, so the only players they'd bid for were their targets (so Barmby wasn't allowed to buy anyone he wanted to buy). FACT.
I know its painful but time moves on. Nick was a rabbit in the headlights. Couldnt make a decision. We were certainly assured by you and his mate who used to post on here there definitely was money but Nick did not want to spend it and would live with his decision.

Almost as if they wanted Barmby to be a head coach rather than a manager. Nah, they wouldn't do that.
