Dunno. It's all topsy-turvy now. Just realised we've gone back to the U23 category after 40 plus years.
Earlier, I typed out a long-winded version of what you've just written there FLT, and then felt such a **** for doing so that I changed it to I'm still waiting for Sam Gallagher. I don't think he'll cut it and I've never thought he'd cut it. I would be highly delighted to be wrong but I've never seen anything to write home about. And I feel quite awful having that opinion of his ability, because I like to say nice things about up and coming players.
I agree entirely. Even when he came in for Lambert for a few games, he didn't quite seem to have the extra 10%. Shame, but no point us just hoping, we need to be to the point. He could still have a good career lower down the leagues.
I only watched the last 30mins or so of the game, who played No5? he seemed to cover an awful lot of ground and looked a good player as well.
Don't Groningen have a "Koeman Stand"? - conspiracy theory for their over zealous play Or a miss-communication on the instruction "hit the target" From their displays on the pitch, I think we should move on McQueen & Isgrove permanently. Turnbull barely featuring is not a good sign for him either
McQueen is playing out of position. Isgrove and Turnbull will probably need to seek careers elsewhere, though.
Good to see that the goal was Charlie's (and not an og)....not clear when watched live, but it spun in off the post. Goals give strikers confidence.
Agree but as I said before - I want to see him lining up with the other starting XI playres, not playing alongside the acadamy reserves, in one of the remaining friendlies.
Yep, the Saints roller coaster. Lots of ups, lots of downs, lots of thrills and plenty of terrified screams.
