He'd be worth double that simply by being under contract mate, this is really ducking poor by the club.

I know someone is gonna pipe up 'we don't know what's happening behind scenes', well, we do know that is is always Safc that are dragging our heels and blowin out deals.

The only constant in all of this is us. Lombearts last year, Santon already this, Yann.

We are terrible at this. Terrible.

I agree, but like I say, in this instance I don't believe the press in their claims that it is all to do with a £5 million transfer fee. If it is? Then god help us all.

Some other club would have signed him for £5 million by now surely?
 
There has to be a correlation between the fee, the wages and the length of contract ........ the club have to get the best deal possible.

Spurs have these protracted deals because Levy squeezes people.

I have to say though, it's frustrating.

That's the problem imo. The man who issues the budget is making Bain's job imposible. What do we expect him to do, money only goes so far and we need it to go further. All the DoF's and Ceo's have been restricted by Short for a long time.
