Cheers BB. A quickie here. Which country in the World has the oldest defined land borders ? ie. the borders have been the most stable for the longest time.
Neither of those Yorkie. It is also the only border in the World which can be crossed using a zipline (ie. a cable suspended above an incline, with pulley and harness). The answer is quite surprising.Probably one of the old Himalayan kingdoms.... only two left now... Bhutan ( where I used to live) or Nepal?
Although Andorra has not been completely independent since then BB. It has been under Spanish rule many times since then, during which time it was a 'Lordship'. The country I am thinking of has had a stable border/borders for nearly as long as Andorra, but has been a sovereign state the whole time.Andorra? It appears to have had the same defined borders since it was formed in 1278.

Portugal is the country I was thinking of BB. They had a dynastic union with Spain at one time, and built ships for the Spanish fleet, but remained autonomous. Over to you. The border itself has not changed since 1292.The zipline clue suggests Portugal - but didn't the Spanish invade/rule there for a while?
Over to you Yorkie...![]()
What exactly varies from 735 to approximately 12,000?
Is it the number of Conservative Peers in the House of Lords at any given time?
