Damages our season? Our season was over the minute the two muppets put the takeover on hold and decided not to go. They have condemned the club to another season of toxic atmosphere and off field problems. We where supposed to of won the richest football match in the world and all that is happening is it will go in the Allams back pocket. Rumour has it Boro has offered £4 million for Harry. Will not be surprised if it is accepted by the muppets along with the other offers for the likes of Robbo. Think we are starting to see the asset stripping of Hull City by the Allam family and we will be left with a club in the same condition they bought at.
It's not that surprising Bruce went really, there's been intimations of it happening all offseason. But it needed to be sorted out much quicker than this.
Last relegation season from the prem, so many wanted rid of Bruce. Too defensive, no plan B, playing players out of position. Lots calling for his head... No what do I hear? More two faced-Ness (if there is such a word), Bruce has gone, a ****ty thing to do in my opinion, especially walking outo on the players at this stage of the season. Good luck in the future Brucey but your days have been numbered for a long while, you rode your luck well.
Ray Clemance summed it up perfectly in his tweet about the situation. Sorry don't know how to copy over
I'm proud of your stay away protest. Stood by your guns. Can you now return to the seat you did/didn't give up? Have your issues with the cub now been resolved? Are you able to tick them all off. Kids no longer getting concessions. Tick. Back in the PL. Tick. Oldies paying the going rate. Tick Back in the PL. Tick. Adults no longer subsidising tickets for the disabled, children & oldies. Tick. Back in the PL. Tick. Bruce gone. Tick. Back in the PL. Tick. Allam's still in charge. Tick Back in the PL. Tick. Excellent, well done.
There were many of us who though Bruce too negative in the Premier League, I was one of them, but much has happened since the season ended. The owners have continued to piss everyone off, they've ****ed up the sale of the club and Bruce was left as the only glue holding it all together, now they've ****ed that as well. And regardless of anyone's opinion on his managerial ability, he is our most successful ever manager and deserved to be treated far better. We're three weeks from the start of the season, we have no manager and no team. For me, it's like the Brownie situation, there were many fans who thought he should go, but the timing and manner were ridiculous.
I wanted Bruce to go after relegation and there was times last season I thought he was done. However I believe as I said yesterday this imo is some sort of plan to force Bruce out and the Allams probably have someone lined up. Regardless Bruce should have been treated better than this, if this was part of a plan the Allams should have sat him down and explained they wanted someone else to take over and treated him properly
Very true lammy man Our away form was piss poor this season just gone.....it seemed at times as if Steve Bruce had no idea what to do.. Having thought about it its not the leaving that pisses me off the most but the way its happened I like steve bruce...we had some great times with him in charge.. We also had some strange team selections and piss poor football as well especially away last season Hope to f the Allams will f off soon and we get a more decent owner and find a decent manager
Agree with all you've said, but too me this is about Allarm jnr ego, due to his football wide popularity in the football world,SB was history as far as jnr was concerned, too me its just a case of pure spite, and pop's would always back jnr no matter what, as a matter of family honour
My hands have been full for a number of weeks but I am back. Hopefully I am no longer persona non grata.
