In all seriousness I dont know your labor laws nor much about your players union. Is there anything that the players can do that would not violate their contract? Or some clause in the union agreement that allows for some sort of collective action in a situation like this?

Things likely to take another twist in the next few weeks as not all deals are over and as i understand one did not want steve bruce as manager,no matter what some think there is still an interested party, this could be what the Allams were playing for.

I am glad that inept bastard has walked... its just a shame that AA didnt push him.

Does anyone think for a minute that the Allams wanted to replace him all along and have deliberately pissed him off so he quits for free?

Are they that clever?

just crossed my mind...if the potential new owners had a new manager in mind and did not want Bruce, he has walked with I assume, no payout, so we are a bit more attractive to them...but I do think it is bollocks

Whats the end game to that cleverness? Simply getting rid of Bruce? I mean, at this point they will lose season passes and no one decent is going to want to manage this club nor sign for this club under their ownership.
