Like **** it is. Don't patronise us with that bollocks about being too young. This is the lowest of lows for the club.

Hate to disagree but being locked out of boothferry park, having to put money in buckets going round the ground to help us survive, being bought by the like of Lloyd, Hinchcliffe etc was worse then this, during those dark times we had nothing but extinction to look forward to.

Yeah but it's relative. Saying times were harder back then isn't going to wash with fans who can't relate to that, like my brother for example. To them these are dark times, which might be some comfort to you, but trust me, it's not to them.

But the truth is there were a lot worse times back then.....and only some of us were around to witness them. I wasnt being patronising just pointing out the facts. Hull City have been around for a lot longer than post 2008 !!

Yes but by saying things like 'fans are too young to know...' isn't exactly fair, people can't help when they're born. So how are they going to know how difficult it was being locked out of Fer Ark (I was there, by the way)? They can only go on their own experiences and to them this probably ranks up there with the worst of it.

Again you are right......but its up to those of us who remember to let them know that this is nowhere as bad as it can get !!!

Thankfully in those days there was no social media, but if you read here or on twitter, you would think the World is going to end.

And as I said I am still buzzing for the new season, like every other season for the past 40 years......

I would like to see a staff and player revolt!

Bruce, Phelan, Robbo, Hudd, Livermore basically any player withna release clause and say we either see some signings in next week or we are off.

Even our greedy owners can see how much the club value will drop and how they would never recoup their money. Egos would also be hit knowing each and eveyone who left would be in media explain ing why they left due to inept owners

They take the Sky money still.

SOS,!!!! come in Gary Rowett
Or even a BOGOF with Sheffield Wednesday
Goalie and manager !!!!!!
I say you buy one, you get one free !!!!

Don't think so. We don't have that level of debt.

Maybe a Blackpool (I guess it's the same thing?), but surely the Allams sell up.
We will end up like an Ipswich or Sheff Weds but I think we always be near Championship level unless the Allams really do a scorched earth policy on the club. i'm one of the older supporters obviously but it's still sad for our newer and global fans to see the kind of nonsense going on now that always used to be a feature of the club

They were a lot worse on the pitch, however that's only part of it. The fans were united, the players were 'real people' you saw out on the piss every saturday night and you could chat with them, and it was just a lot more enjoyable experience. i genuinely dont know anyone of my friends who went regularly when were at our ****test on the pitch who didnt enjoy those times more than they do now.

You don't think having no manager and no fit first eleven three weeks before a Premier League season is something to be a bit miffed about then?
