Those players have release clauses because they aren't in the PL. Most players would have clauses that if a PL club bids X amount, then they are free to leave, as that gives those players confidence that their club won't restrict them from a PL opportunity should it materialise.
You keep making these sweeping statements as if they are facts & not just your speculation. What is the value now compared to what it was a week ago? You don 't have a clue what the answer is & neither do I. Stop trying to pretend otherwise!
Whether he can only sign free transfers. These post match interviews are the only chance the media get to speak to the club through Steve, if enough people want to know something they'll ask the question. I'm guessing it's not true as the takeover has been 'put on hold' so we can strengthen, it would be slightly understandable if not massively disappointing if the takeover was still happening.
Should the statement about only signing free transfers prove to be true (unlikely I hope) why would anyone keep shelling out for membership? I'm already regretting signing up - after all , with only a few weeks to go we have no squad, an unsettled manager and an aborted take-over - and that's on top of the usual crap. presumably cancelling membership won't be THAT difficult and I can see a lot of people simply giving them up.
Check out the injury thread, those players need to be replaced, do you think that can be done for less than £6m? Of course the value's dropped, the costs have just massively increased.
If you'd told me a month ago I'd be desperate for us to sign Robson-Kanu I'd have had you committed. I'd take ****ing Akinfenwa.
Just got an alert from Sky Sports that Bruce is in talks with Hull City about his future with the club. Anyone know anymore about that?
Hull City manager Steve Bruce is in talks with the club over his future, according to Sky sources. Reports on Friday have suggested Bruce has parted company with the Premier League side. At the start of June Bruce was reported to have been considering his future as Hull boss amid speculation the club could be the subject of a takeover bid. Hull have been up for sale since 2014 after the Football Association rejected owner Assem Allam's application to change the club's name to Hull Tigers. http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/10509426/steve-bruce-in-talks-over-hull-city-future
Still totally buzzing for the new season.......no players, no manager, no fans, crazy owners.....who cares ?? Let Dawson take charge on 1 leg and play the U21's ...... Unfortunately a lot of our fans don't remember the past, because they are too young or the rest didn't go because we were crap. We are Hull City.....this is what we do !!!!
Like **** it is. Don't patronise us with that bollocks about being too young. This is the lowest of lows for the club.
Wow patronising much? Who cares? We care. It's people like you that stifle the protests and diminish the point we are trying to make. As long as there are fans with that attitude Allam will always have something to lean on.
