So as it stands who's going, and who's not having been ground down by the continuing crap from our owners?
 
not going, but the ownership is not the deciding factor in my case. its still cricket season, and I expect to playing on the 13th.
 
I'm boycotting home games but the impact wont be measurable until we play Stoke & Southampton due to the attraction of our first 4 homes.
 
I won't be going to any games, home or away, at all until the Allam's have ****ed off altogether, I think many others will be the same judging by the empty seats at Wembley.

Filey the visionary told us all what would come to pass if we got promoted to the PL and it's currently all unfolding. I recall many arguing against his point saying that we would be a much more attractive proposition if we were elevated to PL status, obviously they negated to take into account the total ****ishness of the Allam family!

Not going in.. but happy to get involved with any outside the ground protests... !! What are the rules re PA systems in West Park I wonder... !!...

There's nothing to suggest that a deal was more likely if we weren't promoted. In fact, I suspect there's almost zero chance that they would have agreed to sell the club at a loss, they won't even sell with a £30m profit.

At football training last night a mate of mine (a Newcastle fan) made quite a good point.

If we continue in this state until the first game of the season, the pundits on Sky and BBC are going to tear into us (or, more likely, the owners). This might seem like a 'Oh the Allams won't listen' deal, but I can imagine somebody like Charlie Nicholas or Alan Shearer having a right old go saying things like "they're a laughing stock" and "the fans are being ripped off" and that sort of media spotlight might just induce some sort of response from the club, assuming they stay quiet until August. If we get the media on our side, the national media that is, that puts pressure on the club to act. Hopefully that'll happen before the 13th August, but if not, if nothing else it'll speak to the millions who tune in to Soccer Saturday/Match of the Day and might create some unwanted publicity.

Then there's the local media. They should have been putting pressure on the club way before now. They haven't done so and now it looks like the **** is really going to hit the fan, I wonder how they are going to retain any credibility as 'journalists'. (OK, the word 'retain' is probably misplaced).
