The Allam's really have backed AP and NP to the hilt in this past year. Legends. Mental but still.

I thought the Rosenior account was genuine - but I am very sceptical about this Ayala account.

It looks like a google translate job into Spanish to me... It just doesn't seem right.

Seems very unusual for a player whose clubs are clearly in negotiation to be tweeting to his new fans, as well as putting up a background picture of him playing for city...

I'd say they're either both fake, or both genuine, as Rosenior introduced Ayala as a new tweeter to all his followers.

    I'm going with both fake.

The reasons I mentioned above plus the fact that none of the official City twitterati are following them.

I don't expect the full squad to be best mates, but Stewart, Dudgeon, McLean, Evans, Oxley - None of them are following with Ayala, Rosenior or Fryatt, I would imagine you'd follow team mates - even if they're not best mates.

Ayala is a decent player but Chester is better and I think NP rates Hobbs as a certain starter.

I'm a little worried that Ayala will be signed to be a 1st choice starter which will probably mean Chester gets benched or NP tries to find another position (square peg in a round hole problem) like he did last season.

Ayala may be a good player but I'd prefer Chester in the team - certainly as a DC

I'd prefer Ayala. A better central defender in my opinion. Probably to partner Hobbs. Would be one of the best pairings in the division. Chester as competition, and as cover for a number of other positions.

Time will tell I guess. I didn't rate Ayala in the same way that many on here do. Chester though, is quality, and i read somewhere on here the Dawson said he is the best defender in training all of the time

The Liam Rosenior twitter account was outed as fake by Stewart on 28 May.

It is that fake account that is pointing us to the Ayala one which is probably fake too.

I would like to see Ayala come here again but only if NP gives Chester a fair chance going forwards.

Tbh I'd love us to go for Ayala. I personally think he's better than both Hobbs and Chester and that would leave us with 3 top class championship defenders. Solid defensive base imo.

Sign Ayala, and the best 2 of the 3 play.

Agree with Tyler, I've said this a few times but having 3 good defenders is a good thing.

I don't agree that Ayala is as good as people make out. He's a good defender and I'd love to have him. But people get a bit too excited about him saying he was better than Gerrard and better than Chester now. It's only because these people have missed seeing him, they're convincing themselves he's a lot better than he is.

Ayala made Gerrard look dodgy at times. He is a class defender and can only get better as he is still very young (as will Chester and Hobbs). Personally I'd start Ayala and Chester centre back with Hobbs for cover but that's just my opinion. Theres not a lot in terms of quality between the three.

    This is spot on.

Last season Anthony Gerrard was our best defender. James Chester was not far behind him as the stats proved. Daniel Ayala formed a good partnership with Gerrard, but not as good as the one that Chester did. Jack Hobbs formed a poor parnership toward the end of the season which, for me is a worry.

However, it has to be remembered Danny Ayala is only 20! Two years younger than James Chester, so under the tutelage of Nigel Pearson I would expect him to get better and better.

Since the season ended I hoped we would get this player. Nothing has changed.

The signing of Ayala, IMO, will leave Hull City with potentially the BEST 3 centre halves in the championship.
