A Chinese club has allegedly offered Gonzalo Higuaín almost £1m per week.

That's amazing but not the hard part - De Laurentis has consistently said he wont sell for less than the 96m euro release clause, and that's expired at the end of June so now he doesnt have to sell for any amount.

Saying that, if they can afford to pay him a million a week a £100m fee shouldnt be an issue.

Nottingham Forest have rejected a bid from Norwich City for striker Britt Assombalonga.

I'd quite like us to have a go with this one, though it seems the rejected bid is already for £7m.

Wouldn't mind us signing him myself

That'd be 10m of the 18m gone

In reply to an earlier poster

Fosu mensah from United on loan would be great if impossible
I'd like to see Roshaun Williams who's far better than Tyler Blackett

Tottenham complete the signing of Vincent Janssen for £18.8m.

Barnsley are on the verge of signing highly-rated 19-year-old forward Jinty Caenepeel from Dutch side FC Eindhoven.

Could be a brilliant signing for Barnsley, very highly rated, he scored 15 in 29 games in his first season at Eindhoven.

He gets caught offside more than Folan. He can't peel off the last man.

The release clause was £1 & now they've signed him for £1!
I think it's been going round because of the unusual low amount for a release clause & transfer fee, that's all!
You didn't quote anyone in your post, or tell us what you were on about ;)

Bournemouth agree terms for Jordan Ibe £15m. They are spending serious wedge. Great signing, think Ibe is a really good player and I'm surprised Liverpool would let him go.

I mentioned him maybe a month ago as Liverpool were looking to offload. Suggestion was he would be too expensive and if we went down it'd be an issue. I don't think Bournemouth would have trouble selling if they go down though.

Pelle signs for Shandong Luneng - a real shame. He joins Newcastle signing Papiss Cisse as their new centre forward pairing.

Fee for Pelle believed to be £13m.
