This gets on my tits the way the black Americans kick off when a white cop shoots a black man dead.
Another case of racism only works one way.
The American police take no chances, they can't afford to.
How many officers are shot dead over there every year?
If a black cop shot a white man dead it wouldn't even make the news.
Why don't they just make the whole police force black & then the ****ers can't play the racist card.

Shooting people dead isn't 'taking no chances' to be fair.

If America wants people to legally carry guns you can't just have the police force shooting them for that.

In at least one of the last two incidents the victim was posing no threat whatsoever.

He certainly didn't deserve to be killed in that way, whether be was black, white or anything else.

I think the point is Billy, the cops are often as bad as the criminals.

There's been countless cases of white and black cops, pulling the trigger as a preemptive measure of protection, when the victim posed absolutely no threat to them. Often the victims are completely unarmed.

Next thing you know, you've a dumb **** cop on TV saying "Duh I told him to reach into his glove box for his license and registration but he said it was in his pocket, so when he reached for it without my permission I had no option but to execute him for my own protection".

Right. So if it was a black cop that shot this guy would the black community still kick off with all this racist claptrap?
If a black cop killed a white man would the white community kick off?
My guess to both questions is no & that's all it is mind - a guess.
Believe me. Killing a man isn't easy.

I've no idea but I do know there's no difference between being shot by a white cop or a black one ........ you're still dead.

If you've been killed while posing no threat that's murder.

If that was your family you'd be outraged and so would I, whether there was any claptrap or not.

I don't think its racism as such. More white people are killed by police than black people in USA. However the ratio is disproportionate to the population. More white people commit crime than black people. However that ratio is disproportionate to the population. This is due to the fact that the typical black man is not as well off as the typical white man which means he is more susceptible to a life of crime. That is the problem with many societies all over the world. Minorities do not get a fair slice of the pie, whether they are white, black, yellow, green etc. Meaning that the officer has a slightly itchier trigger finger when dealing with blacks, Hispanics etc. If I had to walk through an area where I came across a mean looking black gang I would be slightly more edgy than I would when walking past a mean looking white gang. Its human nature unfortunately, I would walk that little bit faster till I'm out of site (and I'm not racist at all). Unfortunately countless nervy policemen in America are allowed to carry guns.

If Black cops were persistently and systematically targeting white people then I'd imagine yes would be the answer.

I made a right clip of myself last night on the drink.

Drinking with depression. I don't recommend it at all.

I talk some **** when I'm pissed (insert witty comment here) it makes me cringe now, I once started chatting with a bloke from the gym who worked on reception and doing towels and general dogsbody jobs, I told him how under valued he must feel but I see him grafting and appreciate all his hard work so I bought him a drink to say thanks and kept shaking his hand.

I had to quit the ****ing gym, never went back <laugh>

It was **** anyway, Virgin Active.

And that's the very point I'm trying to make - albeit rather badly.
It happened to be a white cop that shot a black fella.
That gives them what they love.
An opportunity to play the racist card.
They do it every chance they get.
Of course, there are no black people who are racist. There's just no such thing. <doh>

Not bothered about the ribbing. It's the letting my guard slip and letting my mate see the state of my mental health problems. He doesn't get it but he'll fuss now and it's the last thing I want.

I'm sure if he's a good mate, he'll just move on and accept that you might have had an off day.

I wouldn't over think it mate.

I once got back home from a night out and puked all over my mates shirt that he'd left on the sofa where I passed out.

I woke up and put it in the bin, to hide the evidence, then told him he was so pissed the night before he took his top off in a karaoke bar and threw it at the gay barman.

He was mortified, the poor bastard. <laugh>

I remember being well hammered in a pub next to one of my former employers. I thought I could get a girl back to mine by offering her £20, this was done with the sincerest intentions, as I was trying to put it across that she would be ok for a taxi home and by offering her money, that somehow made me trustworthy <doh>

This went on for a few minutes until I got a slap in the face and I was asked to leave the bar. Now that's cringeworthy, even now I call myself a ****ing idiot and shiver when I think about it. **** knows what I was thinking, but that's alcohol for you.
