Has this appeared elsewhere? If so apologies. http://tinyurl.com/zn3js3l 1. Hull City please log in to view this image After winning the Championship play-offs and entering the Premier League once again, fans will be delighted when they see that their season ticket prices have dropped £284 since their last season.
I know that. I was pointing out that the crowds he mentioned would mean only 17,500 people from Hull, a city of over a quarter of a million, with as many again living in the near vicinity, would be in attendance, (And many of them would be there to gawp at and photograph the players of the opposition) which is pathetic. Compare this season's season pass sales to 2008 when all 20,500 had gone by 6th June. Yet some people still refuse to criticise the Allams and their stupid ideas.
No wonder 10,000 season tickets have flown out of the KCOM. Just tell my lad, he was under the impression that his season pass was going to cost him £27 x 12, £324 as would his 10 year old's pass. Mind you, at Midflesbrough where it would have cost £570 in the family area for the two of them, they have sold out the family area. Their cheapest season pass for an adult elsewhere is £570, Must be a reason why a club in an equally deprived area can sell over double the amount of passes that we have. I wonder what they could be? Horrific scenes there BTW. Young children at risk of crushIng in the rush to escape the dangerous smoke causing respirstory problemd, asthma attacks and the ground being consumed in a massive conflagration. Not to mention people on the pitch meaning the risk of points deductions, ground closure etc...
Unfortunately the life has been sucked out of the club by the fight between the owners and the fans (HCST). If the rest of the country thought they had seen it all with the mess in the Brexit fiasco, they should take a look at the lies and deception created by both sides of the City divide !!!
Hmm it's not a opinion....it was just an observation. And the envelope gag was great.....no really it was
More people find a use for an envelope, especially a Manila one, than for a moped with shinguards. You win this one, officially. We need more of the background lurkers, as you have chosen to be for a while, to come on here and strut their stuff. Go, Manila!
Well, it seems this forum is intended just for those who support your views, and if they don't then you resort to insults. There are some of us out there, who can look at things objectively and see that both the owners and a section of the fans are destroying the club we love.
I should stop going to games or stop posting on here and offering a different perspective ? I am 100% against the name change, the membership scheme is a good idea but badly implemented and to be honest I don't care who the owners are, it has never bothered me in the 40+ years I have been supporting City and we have had far worse owners in the past than we have now. Having lived overseas for most of the past 15 years, and being deprived of watching City week in/week out like I had done for the previous 25 years and instead having to get up in the middle of the night to listen to a crappy radio commentary from Burnsy and Swanny....or searching out a seedy bar in downtown Manila to catch a glimpse of us on TV at 2am.....or doing a 15,000 mile 'day trip' to watch us in the play off final....or even flying 5 hours to Beijing to watch us in a 'home' game for me ......has maybe given me this different perspective. So now I am back in the UK for now, to hear of 'so called' City fans not going to games (and playoff finals !!!) because of the owners or club badges, is truly pathetic.
pathetic I am then there's more to this in the long run than a nice day out at Wembley I didn't want promotion and so didn't want to go to a game that I wouldn't want to win (but would want to win...because you can't help it)
I can see your point.....because I didn't want us to get swallowed up again in the PL 'Monster'....but then again I support City, to see us achieve the best we can, and win every game.......whether that game is against Man Utd or Accrington Stanley.....its all the same. That's why I think all this owner, badge, membership bullshit is all irrelevant......the only 2 constants are the team and the fans.......everything else is just fluff !!!.
