so Brucie says he will walk - but only if they give him a favourable exit package - arf - what happened to all this lovely man, his money, etc

I sometimes agree with you on Bruce, but you've got the complete wrong end of the stick there.

I was commenting on this article which suggested that he was waiting for the right package - I've absolutely no doubt that Brucie is getting ****ed about, I've absolutely no doubt that Ehab's ****ing every-one about including any potential buyer - my comment was merely reflecting the fact that if Brucie wanted to walk, then he should but according to this article he's waiting for a pay off of some sorts - presumably as he's under contract then part of that settlement will involve it being terminated - all I see happening is the Allams maximising the return of their gift then the team and fans can **** right off with what is spit out at the end

I have to be honest, I thought the local media would be more intrusive at this point (Confidentiality clauses notwithstanding).

I'm not local to read it, but they must be asking questions about where things are heading... By now, it should be clear as to whether it's a matter of time, or the bids have been effectively shelved?

Transfers isn't the issue as it is quiet everywhere due to the Euros.

The state of the club can't be that hard to dig into with the right contacts?

You'd have to assume that the club is still close to being sold. Surely we would have heard by now if it had collapsed. The worrying thing is how long its taking. Negotiations have been going on for months, what is the hold up?

It needs to be sorted out very quickly, Bruce needs to know if he's staying or not, signing new players etc...

It's not worrying if it takes time, that's the best way to get a credible deal.

Also, if it's down to the fine details that's good for SB as he will know a bit about where it will all end up...

I am just confused why the press aren't asking more questions. We don't know a thing about where bids stand and if anything at all has happened the last 10 days.

The ? I am asking. Is how many Posts are there In a Season on this Forum. Currently The Post tally Is 897,761. Will the Board reach the 1,000,000 in this Season.? And If It Hits - Will there be a prize.?

I am taking the fact we have not heard anything as a positive because:

If Bruce wanted to go he could just leave and let his legal team sort his settlement afterwards

I think the takeover is close as I think Bruce would leave if current owners stay, the fact he has not left is quite telling

Ehab would have been quick to tell everyone he has saved the club by not selling to "unsuitable new owners" if the sale collapsed

This length of time tells me the buyers are thorough and getting everything checked and set correctly

Elmo has signed a new contract, Thud looks close to signingredients, and no big names have appeared in press pushing for a move. If Bruce was off and club ownership was an issue we would see more player "unrest"

That's the feeling.

But if so, why hasn't the press got that as the story.

It's close but we can't say more type thing.

I don't think there's any demand for Bruce, at least from sides in the second tier who may have interested him, let alone top tier teams. He hasn't impressed those kinds of people the last couple of seasons.

Still no real news.

Transfer news and contract news, but no news on the news we are all hoping for. The news on ownership news.

I'll be back next month, with less.
