... According to reports in Italy Spurs are apparently set to bid 45m euro for Mauro Icardi. If this is true, he's ****ing brilliant. He's got 52 goals in 105 games for Inter during a period when creativity has been a big issue. He's got the best chance conversion rate of any striker in Italy. He's also a great age and Inter captain. I'd say 45m euro is very cheap.
The only downside is he's a bit of a twat. As a newly arrived foreigner at Samp a teammate befriended him and welcomed him into his home. Icardi then shagged and nicked his wife. He makes John Terry look like a true mate.
