If Arsenal played Iceland every week I'm sure Giroud would be top scorer in the league.
Does that mean that if Leicester played Iceland every week then Kane and Vardy wouldn't be top scorers in the league?

They wouldn't score any because neither team would attack which means neither team could counter attack. So they'd both all just sit there in their own halves with the ball sat on the centre circle!Does that mean that if Leicester played Iceland every week then Kane and Vardy wouldn't be top scorers in the league?![]()

In your opinion is Griezmann better than Sanchez? Payet better than Ozil? You could argue both, both ways but they're all very close to each other. It's not the personnel that are different. It's the style of Arsenal's football, worryingly branded as amazing passing football by a few still, that we play under AW that stunts a lot of our players. That said, Giroud is still not a great centre forward and certainly not deserving of being first choice at one of the big clubs.

I was joking. However, that doesn't disprove the theory that Iceland are a poor football team. Just like Greece were a poor football team in 2004. Winning a few matches doesn't mean you're a good football team.. especially when one of those teams is England!Iceland have scored a fair few tbf against the likes of Holland, Portugal, England, Austria, Poland and Belgium among others just in the last year - they hardly just sit back and never attack, as England know only too well...
Yup, Plus we all know Giroud scores in batches. He goes through periods where he plays well then disappears for weeks on end.
Probably worth a visit to the Dipper board as they will be predicting a title win now.Liverpool spanked Barcelona! Will be an interesting opening game against them!
