If we add a Top striker and defensive cover I would fancy us for the title. The way things stand I'm leaning towards one of the Manchester Clubs.
Soo.. United have now officially signed Pogba, Mhkitarian and Zlatan this window. Mahrez looks set to be joining Chelsea today. Wengers lack of activity is embarrassing.
City have just signed Jon Stones. Both United and City have spent over £160 million this Summer. Arsenal sign Xhaka for £33 million and release Flamini, Arteta and Rosicky. What the **** is happening??
Wow really? Didn't know he was going there. But our transfer activity is as painful as usual. Only signing i can see is a CB, which will be so underwhelming. Without a top striker, we will not be challenging, we simply do not have the required firepower to do it.
Well photos have surfaced of Mahrez outside the Chelsea harbour hotel today. Who knows whats going on there. Ashley Williams about to sign for Everton. Think he would have been a decent addition for us.
Williams might be better than Jonny Evans. BTW - where did you see Mahrez to Chelsea?? We don't need anyone in that position at this time.
Basically Leicester and Spurs upset the applecart and now the big teams are **** scared that they will be missing out on the millions and millions that the tele money will bring in.
Have to admit. Hull's Andrew Robertson looks like a very good left-back. Adept with the ball at his feet, decent technically, good energy. He's only 22 as well. With Monreal in his 30s and Gibbs not looking likely to make that LB spot his own, he could be worth a punt.
Hull City 2-1 Leicester. Snodgrass. Schmeicel's poor throw causes trouble, Morgan doesn't deal with the cross and Snodgrass whacks it in. Great finish. Leicester's centre-back partnership of Morgan and Hernandez look very unstable. The latter in particular has been struggling.
Well the champions have lost their 1st game. I think they missed Kante tbh though I wasn't concentrating on the game in all honesty.
Looks like Mourinho is going to be even more bullying than ever now he's at Man U! http://www.thedailymash.co.uk/sport...rough-the-streets-of-salford- -20160813112230
Liverpool are a joy to watch. I tip them to surprise everyone and make us Gooner even madder that we didn't replace Wenger with Klopp. I would love to win and lose with someone like him in charge of my team. You feel his passion and his energy and want to back it win, lose or draw.
We have absolutely no chance of winning the league this season so if someone else has to win it I'd prefer it to be them, and this time it would be through good management, not lucking out on Suarez
I agree. I wanted him to replace Jose back in August last year. Pool got lucky. TBH - Conte looks exactly like Klopp in most if not all aspects. Early days - but Chelsea & Pool look very similar in various fronts. Manager, Attack, Mid field - all great, but awful Defense. Goons Good mid field - awful everything else If we cannot - I would rather Klopp or even Phelan (Leicester 2 - LOL) do it. Unfortunately, it is written Jose all over the title before the season even kicked off. Just the way it is virtually written 4th for you lot
United won Liverpool Won City Won Chelsea Won Spurs drew Arsenal Lost. Already playing the "catch up" game.
