Not sure why everyone is touting Hoddle.

Hasn't managed for years and when he last did he achieved nowt.

He's out of touch, has previously been sacked from the job anyway and can't rely on the players being impressed by his playing credentials as most of them were in nappies when he was strutting his stuff.

Hoddle is looking backwards when England need to be focusing on moving forwards.

A foreign manager please, but this time one who can speak the language, keep his cock in his trousers and pick players based on form and nous rather than reputation.

Wales do not have better players than England. They have a better team spirit. England have to develop a team spirit and a tougher mentality. With that we have the talent to win tournemants, without it, we will win nothing.

I never said they had better players, I said they had players, where as we had names!
Meaning they played as a team & we are a collection of individuals who are well known!

England have negotiated a friendly against Iceland for the next manager. if that goes well they'll be playing Asda, then Tesco's.

Bobby charlton was asked about the Iceland defeat, and how he thought his England team of '66 would have done...

"One nil" he said, "I think we would have beaten them one nil".

Only by one? The interviewer asked?

"Yes... " Said Bobby...

"Most of us are in our 70's now, you know".

Whoever it is should insist they add into this England DNA booklet that's been touted about that any player selected for U18's, U21's actually plays in the tournaments to learn the mentality of what it's all about like the Germans do. None of this bypassing malarkey because they're deemed too good for the U21's.

Yes i agree but the Premier League clubs dont have even an ounce of empathy towards the English nation tteam so theyll discourage young players.
Theres also another raft of overseas players about to arrive.
I can envisage the % of english players going down.
These young players also thinl theyve made it before they even get started.
I see no change im affraid.
