Palace agree £12.5 million for Tomkins at Wet Spam. Palace offer £25 million for Benteke! Fulham want £15 million from Sheff Wed! Tom Lees could cost Burnley £10 million!
That's not how it works, Watford can still accept the bid and if he doesn't want to go to China then he turns the move down. If Watford wanted to sell him they wouldn't turn it down on that basis.
Erm, no. If any club accepted a bid but the player turned it down, the player's agent would tell the bidding club, not the selling club.
DONE DEAL: Manchester United have completed the signing of Henrikh Mkhitaryan from Borussia Dortmund.
That was what was reported which is why I put FORCED in the first place! Obviously if the player has said no then Watford will be FORCED to turn it down! Forced does have more than 1 meaning you know, depending on how you use the word!
Jesus H... Do you even know how transfers work? There are 3 elements to any transfer of a contracted player - the buying club, the selling club and the player. If the player says no Watford 'are not forced to turn it down'. You only need to look at a recent high profile incident - Lester accepted a bid from Arsenal, it was then left to Arsenal and Vardy to discuss and the player rejected the move. Lester did not turn down Arsenal at any stage.
I really don't give a ****! I was just writing on here, what I read on SSN, whether it's the club or the player, the bid was turned down due to the player not wanting to go to China!
Leicester City have signed midfielder Nampalys Mendy from Nice on a four-year deal for a club-record fee.
PSG have completed the signing of Polish midfielder Grzegoz Kyrychowiak on a five year deal from Sevilla. Good player, but it feels like Ligue 1 is becoming a bit SPL like, with PSG winning every year and then the likes of Monaco, Lyon and Marseille hanging on the tail coats.
Youri Djorkaeff: "Mkhitaryan is wonderful, and I think he's the best footballer in Armenian history." Up against some stiff competition I guess.
Ferriby have resigned Ben Middleton on improved terms for the coming season. They have, however, missed out on former Tigers utility player Danny East, who has joined Guiseley. Finally, another blow for Ferriby as player of the season Ash Palmer has also joined Guiseley as they offered a full time deal.
