I still believe Brit Assombalonga would be a great buy, coming back from an injury, but would score goals and is quick although no premier experience. We do not want Fletcher surely.
It doesn't matter who everyone else signs, we don't have to match anyone who's spending silly money, even Newcastle, what we need is to get the RIGHT players in, & as you say, not **** about! At this moment this thread is 73 pages of press bollocks, fans wish list bollocks & about 50 of that is pages of arguing bollocks!
There are lots of names I think would improve us. GK - Thomas Kraft (Hertha Berlin) CB - Grant Hanley (Blackburn) CM - Aron Gunnarsson (Cardiff) AM - Kostas Fortounis (Olympiacos) ST - Arkadiusz Milik (Ajax) There's 5, probably cost a total of about £35m, but well worth it. Players worth a punt though is difficult. Gudmunsson at Charlton if he was cheap. I'd try to take Tiago Ilori from Liverpool but he's barely got any Premier League experiment and would be a risk. If Ryan Gauld is available from Sporting he'd be pretty good, but as with most continental players, he's probably got a daft release clause. I'd look at loaning from European giants or picking off players on the fringes of their first team, like Jese at Real Madrid or Munir El Haddadi at Barcelona which would give us flair and pace out wide.
Moses Simon (the lad who played for Trencin against us in Europe) has had a very good season at Gent in Belgium. He'd be worth a look.
Kinnel, a real transfer... BBC Humberside Sport @HumbersideSport Hull City youngster @maxclark4 has joined Cambridge United on a 6-month loan. He had a brief loan spell there last season.
Middlesbrough, Hull City, Burnley and Napoli have all enquired about Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Alex Pritchard. Not a new one, but it's being repeated a bit today for some reason.
Bid accepted for Patrick Roberts, whoever the **** he is. To be recalled from a 2 year (!) loan in no mans land.
