Dont take this the wrong way. Its probably your most participated thread ever. Comms hawkeye. Vocal on out. But you ****ers got the UK into it in the first place[/QUOTE] No! What we took the UK into was 'The Common Market' Perhaps you lads on here need to talk about the blatant bare-faced lies we've been fed for the past 35 years. Would you like it any better than I do?
I found her absolutely nauseating. I would say the same regardless of which way her opinion was. I think she just went for the day out with friends, had a few sherberts and didn't really understand ....... well anything. She is a great example to show for the ''oldies'' who would argue that the young shouldn't have had a say.
Boris led the campaign, won the campaign and dislodged the PM, turns out he doesn't have the stomach for the real work. You have to wonder why.
That's not quite what he said, but Journalist being the way they are, that's THEIR interpretation. This does though highlight an interesting, (to ME) , question. IS IT IMPOSSIBLE TO SUPPORT THE JEWISH PEOPLE OF THE WORLD, WHILE AT THE SAME TIME BEING CRITICAL OF THE ISREALI GOVERNMENT. If I read Mr C rightly, that's what he has done.
In his 'defence' of his party being accused of antisemitism he drew comparisons with Israel and ISIS, this happened on the same day a young girl in Israel was butchered in her sleep by a Palestinian terrorist. If you choose to interpret this extreme lefty socialist and his disgusting brother as non-antisemitic that's your prerogative.
Yes he did... I heard it for myself, and what he said was comparing Jews to the state of Israel is like comparing Muslims to ISIS. He may say that it was taken out of context, but his past history of showing his hatred of Israel tells me that he said what he meant and he meant what he said.
His brother is a much more vocal anti-semitic person, which is damning of JC. It's a shame that he's soiling a party that has deep rooted traditions to represent the working class, he's dragging it through the mud every day.
Is it plausible to suggest there was no real plan or forecasts put in place from the leave campaign? Or could it have come to light their plan was unworkable?
Contrary to the belief of some that i have passed away, i can tell you i am alive and well. I have noted the comments by all those who have contributed to this thread and can assure you i am not in the least surprised by the varying comments, after all we are all different individuals. Now to answer an allegation that you (Comm) have made on numerous occasions that i start a thread and disappear, is that i have said what i want to say. I am not in the habit of reiterating every word i say, never have been and never will. Unlike yourself and a few other posters on here. As a poster (Smug) i think it was, said that this board was more like Comm606. Maybe that is the reason why the number of participants on this board has declined. I will continue to use this facility unless the Mods have other ideas. You and a few others can hurl whatever bric bats you like, but i suggest you dont hold your breath waiting for a reply to every word you write.
Can I take it then that you believe that if you criticise the Government of Israel, that's the same as criticising the Jews of The World?
Why are you trying to manipulate the quote? "Our Jewish friends are no more responsible for the actions of Israel or the Netanyahu Government than our Muslim friends are for those of various self-styled Islamic states or organisations." That's the quote. Don't pretend we are trying to make out he compared Jews to ISIS, we know fine well that he compared Israel to ISIS.
1 - I have MANIPULATED no quote. I pasted the quote I used from another post. Why that poster used different words to yours I have no idea. I asked a question, and only that. My reason for asking it is that it seems that Mr C is being accused of Anti -Semitism base on his being a critic of The Government of Israel. I should point out that since the Israeli Government is inevitably a coalition which tends to include some very right wing Religious Groups, then close oh half the Israeli population are also often highly critical. Since I am no Fan of Mr C, having not heard of him until the 'Party Activists and Trade Unions' put him in charge of The Labour Party, I have no knowledge of his previous utterings. The utterings of his brother, whatever they may be are of even less interest to me. My QUESTION though is I think a valid one. DOES CRICISING THE ISREALI GOVERMENT make a person an anti-Semite?
Go and read the quote again pal, read it, then if you still haven't found it, read it again, and again, and again, until you see it. Stop reading what you think he's saying and read what he actually said.
