Morning all, first time posting, long time lurking. Joao from Wednesday looks to have potential is very good at holding the ball up. He could be worth a punt if other options are slim.
Just doing some reading round on the news now links and can't help but notice that the HDM website is the worst website out there for trying to read anything on. Painful to use.
As a FAT Robson-Kanu is not a risk. However I think our targets are of a higher level first off, but at the cheaper end a chance worth taking. As for your point re. Hernandez. A target man and someone who can hold the ball up @ PL level and is well proven is just what he needs. It would have been 30 plus last season if we had had one. But I still hope that Diomande can show something more than we have seen so far. twt.
Agreed. Matt Taylor from Bristol Rovers is a free agent this week and Kemar Roofe from Oxford Utd has been valued at £3m. Again worth a punt on both for the cash required. Wages wont be an issue at all.
Now that is the problem (Ehab) on top of many other things. It maybe that Ehab is no longer in a position to sign off anything anymore ?
I'm getting that dreaded feeling that we'll play our first game of the season having made no signings with a threadbare squad.
Hardly a threadbare squad. We have only lost Ryan Taylor and Sone Aluko from last season. But questions would need asking if nobody had arrived come the Foxes game.
Like the username. Actually misread your tag line or whatever it's called as "The Bransholme Buffoon" rather than Buffon - which is a shame and has slightly decreased my like of your username.
Not at all, it's meant in the right spirit. Willo is my favourite all time City keeper and one of my boyhood heroes.
If we didn't sign anyone and were left with a current squad it would probably be threadbare by EPL standards.
I was meaning the players we owned. Akpom, Hayden and Powell were loans from other clubs btw. Don't expect an issue over Huddlestone.
It doesn't matter if we owned them or not, it's still five players that we had to call on last season, that we don't have now.
