You honestly think so? You expect it to be listed amongst the world's most spectacular theatres and have a 100,000 people a year pay just look round it on addition to the ones who hold to performances there? Not to mention the comparison in settings.

Not to mention the setting? If the Minack wasn't in that setting nobody would go to it.

They're both small outdoor theatre's and though ours might not be perched on a cliff in Cornwall, it was a perfectly reasonable thing to say.

Don't think there is a comparison in either the theatre or its position or view. But each to their own.
I look toward to the completion of Hull's answer to the O2 Arena.

Ours has an equally unique setting. How many theatres do you know of that sit in a disused dock with views of some of the finest architecture around?

The Deep, The Humber Bridge, The C4Di building - all pretty impressive.

East Yorkshire's Bridge.<laugh>

Wouldn't! Describe the Deep , pleasant enough as it is,or C4D1 as some of the finest architecture around. Could think of a lot of better ones.
The problem is those wooden seats won't look too impressive after bad weather. The opportunities for use will be less than the one in Cornwall. Time will tell.
