Ironically benefits are generally higher in a number of European countries. And we have all seen the evidence that migrant workers in are a net gain to the economy.
The argument therefore that people jump on the bus as you put it to come to the UK for benefits is a non sequitur.... or as I dare to say sometimes to Mme Yorkie ...
Faulty thinking.... Sadly people like Farage have managed to convince many millions that what is not true is true .
That is not to say that we have problems in our infrastructure resulting from overload.... but that is as much due to Govt spending limits as anything else.
Having said all of that I am not against some practical limitations on immigration. We may end up with a situation whereby agencies out of the UK link EU workers to jobs etc.
If we wish to have free trade a way has to be found that satisfies the principles of all....
