I'm not surprised by some of the scaredy-cat comments by some of the remain posters. Most people, especially those employed by the state have no experience of any kind of risk taking. The only decisions they face is which sandwiches to buy.

I see Farage enjoying winding up the MEPs we are going to have to negotiate with over BREXIT. There is a weird arrogant triumphalism amongst some of these people.

Sadly replicated by some really offensive and arrogant posting by one or two here.

Time to work together..... with humanity and respect for others...

I know it is really pedantic, but the volatility is not caused by the Brexit vote per se, it's the uncertainty it causes and not helped by our political leaders acting as total ****wits. It's the same volatility we see when we have really bad weather or a general election or a terrorist attack or if Trump gets elected. Have to also remember that there are parts of the financial community that need this as it drives their speculation and profit making - it's how high risk pension investment vehicles get their returns.

So there is no solid answer to the question Why, it is a political condition made up by politicians - that is what I thought the only reason it could be.

Free movement of citizens is an integral component of the Single Market and a central element of its success: it stimulates economic growth by enabling people to travel, shop and work across borders and by allowing companies to recruit from a larger talent pool. Labour mobility between Member States contributes to addressing skills and jobs mismatches against a background of significant imbalances in EU labour markets and an ageing population.
With over 14 million EU citizens resident in another Member State, free movement – or the ability to live, work and study anywhere in the Union – is the EU right most cherished by Europeans. EU workers have been benefitting from this right since the dawn of the European Union, with the principle enshrined in the first European Treaty of Rome in 1957.

Marine Le Pen has pronounced that 'Britain gave the Europeans a dazzling lesson in democracy.' She called on France to hold a similar referendum.

And she has as much chance of that happening as Farage being the next Prime Minister.

But what if the outcome is not free access, but access via a trade agreement such as the EU may already have with other countries. Do you really believe that those that have very large exports into the UK will not have an incentive to sign such a deal? Do you really think that there are massive incentives for all parties to sign a deal? The US trades with the EU without the freedom of EU citizens to live and work in the US.

What I am saying is that one of the oft repeated arguments was that because of the number of cars the Germans sold in the UK they would have to give us the deal that we wanted. This report shows it to be clearly untrue. With all of the leaders of the leave campaign now saying that they are seeking to remain in the single market, then something has to give. It is not going to be an agreement that only suits one side.

The people have spoken. Certain things should be non negotiable. Sovereignty and UK control of its own borders. The rest can be discussed.

Tell that to people in London & the SE where immigration into the UK is focussed as well. It's a great theory, but because of the huge disparity in wealth between North & South and Eastern Europe it is not sustainable. All it serves now is a further bribe to the new countries joining, which guess what have even bigger disparities.

A picture of an NHS surgical team who come from around the European Union has been shared thousands of times online.

The photo, titled "We are Europe!", shows three scrub nurses from Spain, an Irish radiographer, a German consultant anaesthetist, a Greek urology specialist registrar and a British Pakistani consultant urologist.

Junaid Masood, who posted the picture while working at Homerton University Hospital in east London, said immigration is "the backbone" of the NHS"

I don't know any politician on the leave side that has advocated not employing staff from the EU. It is for the UK government to decide who it requires. Obviously all those above would be welcome with open arms.

    Rumanian pickpockets would not.

I did not say they are more likely but quite a few have been arrested, they should be deported if found guilty.
