    £34mil more like it.

It's crazy season and this summer the prices for players WILL be totally nuts. I'm happy with Mane for that price.

The dollars up on the pound and we've got American owners. By next week that'll be about £1.70.

    Happy Days.

    * Southampton beaches - never been to one tbh. I do know the beaches further down the Jurassic coast are top notch though. Sit on them most weekends!

Yeah, I'm sure the Liverpool owners fronted 100% of the cash for the deal <doh>

Btw, if you're looking for the good beaches, go to Bournemouth

I prefer Weymouth beaches. Plenty of hidden gems if you look along the coast line <ok>

    BTW - I wasn't serious about Mane being £1.70 upfront <doh>

I was in Swanage last june for the weekend. Jesus wept it's like a ghost town. Nice beaches though, nice beach huts too. The train was a bit old though <whistle>

  7. I have a holiday place up near Bridport, along the Jurassic Coast. Beaches are lovely for walkin along, but too stoney for bathing.

Plenty of sand along that coast.

I take it you're quite near West Bay? Very nice down there. Next time you go visit 'The Hive'. It's a delightful seafood restaurant right on the beach in Burton Bradstock.

So you're either in Burton Bradstock or West Bay itself!

Nice coastline, very nice. The coastal road from there to Weymouth is probably one of the nicest roads to drive in the country.

I sense a Cuban cigar story.

  18. The odd Cuban at Christmas, but that's about it, Tobes. I would never smoke in the Merc, though, mate.

  19. @PISKIE and Stan are going to go absolutely fcuking ape-**** when they learn that I have a Merc AMG convertible, and that I am in the habit of driving it along the coast to my holiday retreat on the Dorset/Somerset borders.
