"Another one Soton have set the "kill switch" to "on" so he'll be useless at the Poool" . <electrically fixed>
They're used to it tbf. They top the exodus league every year. The thing is they keep doing well in the market for players and managers, whether that luck will continue is another matter! All across Europe they're known for being a stepping stone club. In that sense they will attract players.
Great quote in there about how Liverpool will sell benteke to recoup most of the £34m being spent on Mane. Who in their right mind would pay that kind of money for benteke?
You'll be surprised how many teams would love bentekkers - in the right team he's quality. To be honest the right team equates to most teams in the PL - any team that lumps the ball forward would love him. There is even rumours Chelsea may bid!! The reality is he's a very good striker. Just not a ball playing CF. I suspect we'll get 25mil back for him. The money this summer will be crazy.
I'd be concerned if I was a pool fan...2 yrs ago Ballotelli and he was ****...a year ago benteke and he was **** and now Mane...are you lot gonna ruin him too? Can't see spurs wasting mega bucks on **** strikers!!!!!
Just taking the piss mate...good striker wrong club for his style of play...would be great for West ham imo
Well next season ends next year and we all know what that means (besides us finishing behind ****ing wenger)
Saints have lost a good player in Mane but a 34 mill fee softens the blow. Tbh, I think both sides benefit from this deal, Liverpool may have found the solution to their lack of pace and goals in wide positions and Saints with the obvious windfall
Fair comment. I'm okay with spending that on a clearly talented player that's only 24. Sothampton's job now is to reinvest and stock up for Liverpool, Man Utd, Spurs, and now Everton to come and raid next summer.
He can be frustrating and inconsistent, for all his merits, particularly with his finishing. With him, coutinho and firmino in the same team next term, you could look like Barcelona one game and Port Vale the next. It will be amusing to see the hoards of over excitable Liverpool fans telling us all what a force klopp has built when they are firing only to fail to get a shot on target v Sunderland in the very next game
I know you wouldn't, you don't have anything to back it up with Anyway this is laugh at Southampton. A little bit like your Leicester thread, only Southampton's exodus is always guaranteed. Wanyanna saw some sense and got out so I see!
Nice beaches? Its a shipping port mate! Containers, cranes and cruise ships Also a yearly passenger service to Liverpool apparently.
