Like him or loathe him he has got us back up.
I would imagine there are fans of plenty of clubs would like to have the Allams success of the last 5 years.

We went up in spite of the owners, not because of them. They put the chequebook away pre-season - understandably we were constricted as it was - and it almost cost us. If we operate on a tight budget again we will be deserved favourites for the drop.

I'm not being stupid. Right now, we're a basket case off the field, and if we aren't careful, we'll be one on the field too. The squad needs a high level of investment.
Read what you put. You are being stupid. One example then ill let you ramble on. We didnt sell Maguire when we could have. Ehab made that choice whether Bruce wanted to sell him or not.
Carry on.

Or could the delay be on the part of the prospective new owners doing due diligence, meeting those in fact, and ensuring that there £100m deal is right?

When I bought my house, which was not part of a chain and significantly less then £1m, it took over 8 weeks to conclude. Pretty certain buying a football club/business worth over £100 may take a little while
Nah, that's just pocket change.

Hopefully the no news is good news saying applies?

Think in this case it is no news is the news. I don't share Sterling Archer's equanimity at the lack of anything happening. We could end up with no manager, no signings and no new owners meaning a half empty stadium where more people are interested in the opposition than City.
