Ehab is a director of the various companies but is not a shareholder in any, All shares are owned by Assem and his wife Fatma with Assem having the majority.
Do you really think they'll go for that again? I can't think of anything more senseless, and even those sympathetic to them must be weary of it by now. I can't think of anything that would be more stupid. So therefore not impossible I suppose... Hope you're wrong!
It's not just about shares but voting rights. No one here will know the mechanics of how any company decisions work unless they have seen the companies act documents that hold the clauses. Unfortunately we are still in complete speculation mode as there isn't any news that advances the question of what is coming next.
This is true but it is interesting that Ehab does not hold any shares in Allamhouse Ltd or any of the associated companies.
If Ehab doesn't want to sell, I wouldn't mind it as much if he announced as much and let us focus on the preparation. This pissing about is getting on my nerves.
Ehab must have a hide made of rhino skin to keep hanging on. I wonder if he is on Brid beach at the moment telling the tide to **** off back?
Or could the delay be on the part of the prospective new owners doing due diligence, meeting those in fact, and ensuring that there £100m deal is right? When I bought my house, which was not part of a chain and significantly less then £1m, it took over 8 weeks to conclude. Pretty certain buying a football club/business worth over £100 may take a little while
I understand the US Consortium has already demonstrated evidence of funds. It may well be due diligence, but if so it's being kept very quiet.
Let's face it, everyone is guessing. So it's very unfair to suggest it is anyone's fault. The only certain thing is the lack of communication encourages futile speculation...
While Assem has been ill, I personally still don`t think he has lost the reins of the family. I would imagine if he is telling Ehab he wants rid then so be it. That is the culture in Far Eastern families, with Assem being the head of the family he makes all the major decisions. Having said that a compelling argument from Ehab that he can recoup a large amount of funds on the back of another Premier League season may just sway it. An alternative argument may be that Ehab is pleading with his father to let him prove himself by making a success of the club. Now this is all speculation I know, but for the life of me I cannot see why no announcement has been made. On the vote some time ago I voted that the Assams would remain at the helm, and while I repeatedly hear that Brucie does not get along with Ehab, and the often term `FACT` is used, just what are these facts to back this up ?
Suppose that would make a bit of sense because if the club wasn't been sold then Ehab would have told Bruce and if it's true about him and Ehab then I would imagine Bruce would have stayed in Portugal getting red. Bruce hasn't commited as he's waiting for due diligence to be completed and the takeover to be approved before commiting
Which is why I can't believe it hasn't been completed. Ehab is being daft if he thinks he can manage the club and earn himself a nice sum. We'll be going down for sure.
Like him or loathe him he has got us back up. I would imagine there are fans of plenty of clubs would like to have the Allams success of the last 5 years.
