Well done The Irish Times! http://www.irishtimes.com/sport/eur...ou-take-in-the-milk-again-next-week-1.2696599
I didn't see the game mate, as was out for a meal. I will back you up though! He does look useful, and yes I think we should cheeky bid for him!
I've been so impressed with Croatia. I love their flair players and the technique of the Modric and Rakitic type. With the young players of a very similar mold coming through. Halilovic, Vlasic, Coric, Balic, Jedvaj. They are going to be like Belgium are getting to at the moment. So much youth talent and potential. Those 2 sides are going to be very interesting to watch in the next few competitions.
Don't overlook Darijo Srna, who, despite his advancing years skips up and down that right flank and delivers telling crosses / set pieces
He is fantastic, but was mainly talking about the up and coming players who will be in the squad for years to come. I also left off the list the very impressive Kovacic. Badelj is also only or 27. He is also fantastic.
So we've got penalties in the first game of the knockout stages. Just heard that Lafferty starts for NI.
Nine of which were excellent - but what was Xhaka thinking of? That was more 'row Z' than anything Bradley Johnson ever managed for us!!
Firstly, congratulations to Wales for progressing to the Quarter Finals. I think Lafferty was on a bit of a hiding to nothing and i wonder if we'll see him in Yellow and Green again!!!
I have my doubts though I do think Martin Atkinson overlooked a couple of fouls against but gave two dubious free kicks to Bale's play-acting!
