Yes as Allam frequently tells us he's a man who knows how to run a business. What a complete car crash Though I've no doubt the half wit who came up with the plan was paid big bucks
Interesting to read that on the 6th June 2008 we had sold all our season tickets (for the play off final we had sold 36,000 in a few days with old fashioned things like ticket offices).
6th June 2016 it was announced relegated Norwich had sold 20,000, Derby 23,000, Wednesday 17,000 and Middlesbrough 20,000+. We were informed that due to a surge following promotion the club hoped to sell 10,000 (something Mike White on RH seemed to regard as an achievement).
Could we become the first ever club to be promoted to the top flight but sell less season tickets than the season before?
None Brian. That's the problem, they are called memberships now .how many season tickets sold so far, does anyone have any idea.
There's a whisper that the Premier League will leave the membership scheme alone, but only if City introduce concessionary prices on all (home and away) match-day tickets.
the first opportunity is fairly immediate tooCan't see that happening. Seniors and families will leave the membership at the first opportunity and buy on a match by match basis.

They might not have any option, it might be the only way they can get the membership scheme approved.
personally I think that's ridiculous, but I suppose they could just have normal ticket prices so high that the concessions were about the same as pass prices and then 'members' would stay joined up because they wouldn't save anything by going match by match? There's a whisper that the Premier League will leave the membership scheme alone, but only if City introduce concessionary prices on all (home and away) match-day tickets.

.....and I don't think that if they stay they'll care. They certainly haven't done anything to suggest that encouraging people to go to matches is important to them (that might have been different had we stayed in the Championship)...and we'd have gates of 15k in the PL if lucky

it really is incredible isn't it. (and very sad)The most successful decade in the club's history - how on earth has it come to this ?

I knowAs membership prices are £13-25 a game, I don't expect match tickets to be cheaper for most, even if they introduce concessions.

none. concessions was always the only pissable issue I thinkOther than pissibly concessions, what issues would the prem have with the scheme?
Edit should be 'possibly' but I like the typo better.
