I am more optimistic. I still think that it is 50-50. The bookies are putting remain as favourites, although the odds have really narrowed. I am still banking on project fear working through, especially with the old gits fearing for their pensions. It would be a shame if those who only have a few years left thwart the will of the youngsters who have a lifetime to live their lives.
It's very hard to know I think we are at the point where the polls will be most accurate now. The official one I say was literally 1 point in it. I think a lot of the papers are faking polls frankly. The dirt going on is huge I would guess at 45/55 on remain best case. I think from here it's take it on advisement.
Aye. The amount of dirty tricks is just phenomenal. I wouldn't put it past the press and their owners faking polls. Expect a 60-40 in favour of leave poll by the end of the week. Every single fact (even confirmed or undisputable) is being denied by the leave camp as false or a fear even though they know full they are speaking rubbish. No doubt they are relying on the confusion of people.
That the £350m is bollocks (even the Telegraph said so), and that even if it existed it's NOT going towards the NHS, despite the illegal branding on their battlebus and campaign leaflets.. Overall immigration will NOT go down, not for five years at least, and even then non EU immigration will increase. The economy WILL tank by between 10-20%, and any trade agreements with the EU will probably have free movement of EU nationals in them just as Norway has. There will still be hordes of 'darkies', 'foreigners' and 'Them Muslims' on the shores of northern France and Belgium just wanting to get here - only now there'll be no agreement with France to stop them getting on the next Eurostar or Ferry. Still, as expected now that the polls and serious analysis has secured that it will be Brexit, Rupert Murdoch and his S#n have declared their hand for Brexit. The guy runs this country, and has done for four decades. Any money not given to the EU won't go on the NHS (as IDSS slyly admitted the monday last), no - it's earmarked for tax cuts at the top. Oh, and austerity? You've seen nothing yet, brother. A nasty, small-minded, tattooed, shaven-headed bigot is in Britannia's shadow right now. When it get's back from France, 'We', as a cock-a-hoop Peter Hitchens is now boasting, 'Will rise and give them hell!'. Only the 'we' in question in this drunken, bravado-filled jingoistic outburst won't be millionaire journalists and newspaper proprietors, will it? And when Wayne and Waynetta see their benefits disappear, who will they blame? Hmmm, as I said, there'll still be plenty of brown people about when we've got rid of the net-contributing Poles. Whatever deal you and Gove-adder did at Rupert's wedding, Boris, in five year's you'll be ditched for a 'charismatic' demagogue of the even further right than Nigel. I truly hope I'm in Ireland or a free Scotland by then, as I'm sure you hope I am too, Diego.
Worse case scenario!!!! Glad I'm here in Mallorca!! When the SUN pledges to back the OUT campaign, a paper that spouted lies about Hillsborough for decades, you know it makes sense to give the SUN the big fingered salute.
Note what Murdoch says about the EU as opposed to his hirelings in the UK government: http://www.independent.co.uk/news/u...ave-as-murdoch-applies-pressure-a7080881.html Sovereignty my arse - when will there be a referendum to get rid of this old tyrant? Who voted HIM so much power?
Watching the Daily Politics as Andrew Neil rip everyone a new Arsehole for not managing to answer questions...he's in fine form..just cut an interview short because they wouldn't to stop them spouting drivel...excellent!

Yeah that's true...it was actually quite paxmanesque.. Basically ripped Ed Vaizey apart. Is this a punishment budget? Osborne saying do as I say or I'll increase your taxes. Waffle waffle. But with 60 conservatives saying they will vote against the emergency budget it's a toothless threat that will never get through parliament? Waffle.... Answer the question...waffle..my OK try answering this one...Remain loves quoting leading economists...Name just one leading economist that would agree that more austerity cuts and income tax raises would be the appropriate response to a new recession? Waffle... JUST ANSWER AT LEAST ONE QUESTION!!!!! Tactically this is another own goal by Osborne/Cameron. They go to the effort of taking a step back to allow Labour to try and target their voters to back remain..Labour mp's come back astonished that at the doors the economic argument isn't working so what does George do? Threatens more Austerity and something no Tory Chancellor would ever do...significant income tax increases. Result...? Undercuts any headway (little that there was) that Labour has made. No labour party is going to vote through a further Tory austerity budget and hope to keep their seats.
The mistake he made to say it'd be an emergency budget the stupid ****. As that would require a motion to enable it. What he should have said is "at my next budget"
