For a first interview, with his new club, that sounded very flat and lacking in enthusiasm.
    Oh dear. <whistle>

Pochettino's team, he laid the foundation, Ron just put a bit of primer over the top. :)

Am I on your Board? No! See you sonny Jim

I've just realised. You probably think History Repeating has posted dozens of times on your board - that'll just be the echoe bouncing off that empty space!

I don't think our football was "unattractive." It wasn't really anything... except boring, I guess.

Koeman didn't have any sort of signature philosophy or style you could pinpoint. I think he was a really good footballer in the 90's, so he was good at the tactics of that style of football, good at coaching it, good at finding players who could play it.

That's how we played. Fundamentally sound, but not in any way distinctive football, with a slight early 2000's/90's retro flavor. There was definitely an adaption to the modern game with the wingers cutting inside and the target man being more than just a big lump who could head. He liked the CB's to be good on the ball.

But the recognition that in today's game you can't get away with one-dimensional players was about as close to "total football" as he got. At it's core, our attack was still old school target man with two blazing fast wingers and lots of goals from headed crosses.

I remember the outrage on this board when Pochettino expressed that exact thought.

    Me too.
But MP was an outstanding coach, you could tell that if he went to a club that let him implement his system they would have success. Ron brought in some good players and they hit the ground running.....
way harder to do that again. Know who'd I'd prefer.

Tobes, you and your little mate can only be here to gloat and of course your presence here is not going to go down well, best to let us get on in our own way before things get a bit uncivilised.
I notice that Koeman is already mentioning "the fans", we've heard it all before, he is just blowing schmoke up your collective arses....:emoticon-0100-smile

As if to add insult to injury, an interview with Twat beard popped up at half time in the Portugal game.

Why does no one love us? :(

****ing hell. Inspiring stuff that. He actually sounds deflated. Did he really say "I was interested when they contacted me"???? Wow. He really doesn't sound inspired.

I was watching that wondering where it was filmed and then a bloke walked by right at the end. Seems like an apartment block or hotel? Why not the club. You don't suppose that's was filmed a few days ago??

By the way people. *Doffs cap* they have their own TV channel - huge club. :)

He signed for the club he was using as a bartering tool to get paid more, he's now locked into a very lucrative contract in a job he knows in his heart he doesn't want.
What could possibly go wrong. Financially nothing, but career, reputation and dreams are at massive risk.

Personally, I think it's more childish to come on to another team's forum and wind them up about stealing their manager, than it is to react to said winding up.

Take your patronising bullshit back to your own forum.

    That's actually quite funny.

    1. Yes, plenty ( probably not used to that many on a forum eh?)

    2. If you read, you'll see nobody is upset
