How the hell did Godders make it through our perennial relegation struggles. Starting seasons with no win in ten, staying in the bottom three for the whole season, staying up on the last day, holding the radio in shaking hands praying for some divine intervention. Fast forward to the money troubles & relegations with points deductions, not knowing if the club would survive. These are good times, the board may well make the odd mistake, but cast your mind back a bit if today is really troubling you.
Godders is battle hardened...that moany old timer in the corner of the trench who survives everything (and others go over the top to escape him).
So, if/when Koeman returns, to finalise paperwork, should we need to sign it off, can we send that person on holiday?
I say put him on gardening leave, forget about him for the time being. Get on with finding a new manager and maybe release him a few days before the start of the season.
FFS I was being ironic. The guy said he liked us for we were all positive and I don't like to be taken for granted. Who knows I might start being nice tomorrow and that will confuse you all.
If that's the effort you submit for irony, just imagine what you could achieve with positive thinking.
Tbf, St.G it would make a welcome change. I've had to stay cheerful in the face of the Queen's 90th birthday. Don't begrudge the old girl her age. It's the palaver I can't take.
I'm convinced she's waiting for Charles to die first. Saving the house of Windsor embarrassment for generations to come...
I think she fears that if he became King the first thing he would do is wind up the monarchy, retire to a castle of choice and shut the door. At least I can dream anyway. Now I'll be accused of going off-topic again. You wait.
I think we should ask that Simon Cowell to organise a Royalty's Got Talent competition and we can decide who should be the next monarch. Bugger the constitution. Oh wait a minute isn't that what the referendum is about but has been hijacked by racism?
