    As a big fish with so much influence amongst local tradesmen you should start a booking portal, you'd make a fortune.

    Throughout the 70's, 80's, 90's right up to until 2008 the NHS was plagued by long waits for as long as records can tell – waits that were both common and very long. It steadied over the period from about 2008 to 2014 but the problem is the data is largely unreliable. My point is though, that the only reason this is used by Brexit campaigners is because we actually have systems (no matter how unreliable) of trying to measure and control it, and they use this disingenuously to skew the argument. But the fact we had immigration at 30k to 50k net in the 80's and 90's yet had worse NHS waiting list kind of undermines the whole Brexit argument.

    Just a thought for those of you that want to remain in the EU, calling anyone who wants out, or anyone who has voted for UKIP a racist will only harden the position of those people. Insults and belittling people based on them having a different political leaning only entrenches their position. If you genuinely want to influence people rather than just feel superior to them then maybe try a different approach.

    Personally I've voted for UKIP on multiple occasions for the main purpose of achieving a referendum on EU membership. We now have a referendum on EU membership. Democracy working, how refreshing to feel like a vote cast has actually had an impact.

    Now that we've got the referendum I expect my vote will in future likely end up with a different political party.

    I'm neither racist, a little englander, poorly educated or old.

    Don't talk nonsense. The French unions have been far too powerful for far too long. The economy can no longer stand the strains of their demands, any more than our's could all those years ago.

    Fun little story here;

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-36506090

    If that had been in the UK i'd suspect the scumbag criminal would have lodged an appeal with the EU court of "uman rites" and gotten a huge payment for "damages" as well as potentially see the good guy get a short jail term.

    Anyone who voted for UKIP is a ****ing balloon in my eyes

    Saying that you did so on the basis of hoping for a referendum on Europe does not excuse the idiocy

    Not even arsed

    Most are poorly educated and of relatively low intelligence. The Brexit leaders know which strings to pull to get this mob heated up too.

    So, they keep repeating their patently untrue figures of the U.K. paying the EU £350mill p.w. Keep bashing the immigration drum, etc.

    As has been pointed out, the U.K. Is the 5th largest economy in the world. It is currently the fastest growing economy in Europe. So, our membership of the EU can't be hurting us too badly.

    Around 90% of the world's top economists have stated that Brexit will do significant damage to the UK economy.

    It's knee jerk nationalism that lacks substance and logic. When pressed to give a credible answer to an awkward question the Leavers retreat to "**** off, we're British".

    When it all goes tits up, they'll deny culpability and will blame whichever politicians are in power at the time.
