I flew into Kavala about 15 years ago. There was a landing strip and a big shed and that was it.Have you ever been to a Greek airport?
I can't say I blame them.....
I don't know if it's got any better.

that's because the torturing of greece means they can sell off their state assets in a fire sale. Guess whos running some of the Greek airports now (ze germans)
Britex, the government may have to bail out banks again. Who is going to pay?. Taxpayers.
I believe the french are voting for britain to get the **** out cos we are worse than isis after yesterday.
In short..... the french/german axis will be very vindictive. they have tortured greece constantly. If britain thinks it can sit on the side and get all the benefits with none of the costs...well they will make sure we dont
I'm not so sure about the French...current polling suggests they have a higher % anti Europe than we do.
And this is the problem among many mainland Europe states. Populations are equating those in charge domestically, who they basically believe are the 1%ers with the EU...austerity measures, high unemployment, 100% GDP debt.
Even in Germany the anti EU figures are comparable to the UK in polls.
A lot of European countries have elections coming up. The increase in support of Nationalist parties suggests that there's nothere's no warm fuzzy feeling towards their European leaders for increased integration.
It will be interesting to see how those elections go...especially if we vote leave.
The current leaders might be vindictive but will they still have the authority?

the fench are all in... so..... the issues they have are empire related not EU related. they frnakly are wannabe communists and would love to go down the route greece went down before the crash.. vast wages, pensions 20 hour weeks retire at 50... blah blah.. I have about as much time for france as RHC.
They are in the euro.. they developed the euro...
Also most elections coming are decided on own issues not eu issues and on immigration cos merkel the fool opened the doors then immiediately slammed them shut.
Increases integration is a thing of the past... thats no reason to end a common market place.
I hope some more countires WAKE THE **** UP and change the thing. we can either beleive cameron really things we can change it or beleive johnsons bollox about just getting out.
See the Polling I posted...The french elite might be all in but the population as a whole doesn't seem to share their enthusiasm....and that's what I was referring to.
Honestly...everyone is talking based on the assumption that they believe Dodgey Dave and the EU leaders are to be believed when they say "No further renegotiation" and "I'll push the exit button immediately on a Out vote result"
I don't think either of these things is true.
I think an out vote will lead to a bit of a cave by EU leaders...especially if dissatisfaction levels within mainland countries increases and is reflected in upcoming elections.
I believe Cameron being the slimey Politician he is will stall based on the reason "since we are going we need to start exit negotiations" but in reality he thinks he can go back to EU leaders and say....Do you really want the dominoes to start falling?
We have all fell for the idea that either side Cameron or EU leaders actually meant what they said....which would be a first in European politics ....
i'm inclined to side with the lefties on public vs private on certain assets such as rail. it is very hard to side with one over the other. I think it's better off having slightly less efficient systems and workers (not that this is the case) than having private institutions running it with skeleton staff and trying to maximise profits especially when there isn't an alternative. Normally privitisation is good when theres competition as that's supposed to drive down costs and increase in quality.
Efficiency consultants, re-organisations for me are just a big waste of money and whilst i believe there should be a little bit of monitoring on how well state institutions are run, i think there is far too much wastage on this and too much bureacracy.
With something like trains, people don't have an alternative and it doesn't matter if the service is good or ****, people will still have to use it.
For all the londoners here, Sadiq Khan in his first month has just broken his key election pledge to freeze TFL fares. Only single journey fares are frozen.
Travelcards will go up

He has been for the wholesale privatisation of the NHS for years. For Boris to even pretend to put extra funding (from the EU exit!!!) to the NHS is a huge joke. No wonder politicians are so disrespected if they can tell such lies without batting an eyelid.
Ok am I the only one who's genuinely worried that Brexit are going to win?
Up until 2 days ago I was quite content that people will vote remain but two things have happened that makes me think Brexit are looking likely to have the edge.
Firstly the polls are showing Brexit are gaining momentum and some show they're even leading.
Secondly EVERY debate I'm watching the Brexit message is well organised and in unison and as a result powerful. It's emotive claptrap but the way it's being delivered makes it sound legitimate and real. While the Remain campaign seem to lack any ideas. They dont seem to be able to counter any claims from Brexit AND more importantly simply AREN'T making a powerful enough claim for people to stay.
I am genuinely worried.
