Me also, saw enough in his fleeting appearances to see he has quality.

 

Depends what we get him on but I'm guessing he's pretty desperate and wont get another Premier League offer other than us. if we can get him for 2 years on - say 18k a week - then that's defo worth a punt. Any longer and it's too much of a risk.

 

I certainly think he is a bit injury prone, so a initial contract for 2 years with an extension would be the way to go.

 

I'd go for one year which triggers a second year if he plays 25+ games. He seems to be made of balsa wood. I couldn't even bring myself to risk two years unless he'd played enough times in year one.

 

I'd definitely have a look at Fletcher. Is he a bit injury prone though?

Fletcher is nowhere near good enough anymore, but I'd take Powell though.

 

If he was good enough once he can be again.
He's 29 and on a free, stupid not to have a look at him unless he's a sick note.

 

Fletcher is only 29. On a free he is a good squad player, remember we will need probably 3 new strikers.

 

Fletcher? Fletcher sucks. He isnt even close to being good enough anymore. His age has nothing to do with it, he just isnt good enough.
