Moshiri has been involved in PL football quite a while now, having had a 30% combined stake in Arsenal with his mate Usmanov.

So he's not some delusional billionaire who's just rocked up and is going to expect instant success imo. As he knows just how much 'instant gratification' costs in the PL. Ultimately the realistic expectation will always be in relation to the budget, so we'll wait and see just how much that budget ends up being mate.

As Blues we are generally quite pragmatic and we're also capable of sussing out a bullshitter fairly quickly, which is why many of us weren't having Martinez for about 18 months prior to his demise.

Your scenario reminds me of when we got new owners, pumped a lot of money in (for the level we were at) paid over the odds to get a "top" manager and what was expected was not knocking on the door towards the top. It was to get to the top. Pardew missed out on the play offs which I would think was the minimum target and while he did get to start the next season he was out as a failure very soon and scooped up to be manager of Newcastle :)

I think Koeman could well see the same scenario here. If he does not get Europa League and a decent cup run he will be sacked.

No-one else barring you seems to have an issue with me posting here pal.

Given you've been obnoxious to me in every post you've replied to, why not use the ignore function if you don't care to read my posts <ok>

Failing that, go **** yourself sideways with a marrow, you arsey ignorant twat <ok>
Say what you really mean Tobes, don't hold back

Soon some one will be barring you, if you chose to resort to abuse.

We'll see how it pans out mate, I think when you exclude Wenger the average tenure of a PL manager these days is about 22 months.

Shocking really. Patience is largely a thing of the past in the top flight in the main.

Any news on your new manager yet?

Haven't got totally rid of the old one yet, any news of your new Manager?

I hope that rule is applied universally then.

As the bloke has been dishing it out to me without retort since my first post here. I've made my point and that's that.

Not so, he probably doesn't like you and is trying to tell you subtly to leave the site, perhaps if he was to say please?

I see Merson has predicted Everton to win the title next season. Where does he get this stuff from? I know Leicester won last season, but you don't get surprises like that every season. And money helps, but doesn't make a team. Even if they bought all the right players, it would still take a bit of time to bed them in. Leicester were already performing towards the end of the previous season. Poch took a season to get Spurs firing.

Got a link.? That I'd love to see, to see how the laughable Merson logic justifies that prediction.
